There is a scene in Alice in Wonderland where Alice comes to a fork in the road.
She asks the question “which one do I take?”
‘Where do you want to go?’ responded the Cheshire Cat
‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered.
‘Then,’ said the Cat, ‘it does not matter which one you take!”
It is true in everything that you do if you do not know where you want to go, then it does not matter which direction you go.
It is like driving your car with no destination in mind. You could end up anywhere.
So before you set off on your exercise journey, sit down and think about where you want to end up.
Exercise, health and well-being is a journey.
The direction you take depends upon the end result you are looking for.
If you just want to lose weight, then there are many diets and nutritional pathways you can take to get there.
If you want to lose weight, get healthy and have more energy then that will be a different pathway altogether.

So whenever you are starting any such journey make sure that you are very clear about where you want to end up.
Otherwise you might just end up somewhere you really don’t want to go.
