When it comes to getting back in shape after having a little one mums always ask me what exercises should I do?

Or, which ones are best for me?

Or, where do I start?

And my answer…

It all depends on how your body is actually working at this point in time.

You see, everyone is different. Everyone has a different pregnancy and everyone has a different labour.

Without completely assessing which muscles are working, which ones are not and looking at how your body moves it is hard to guess which exercise are going to be best for you.

When I start working with any mum the Post Baby MOT is always the starting point. This gives us both an awareness of where we actually need to begin the exercise programme.

Without it, you are simply guessing.

Yes, there will be some common themes going on in term of which muscles you will need to target, but deciding on the right exercises done in the correct manner is the key to achieving what you are aiming for.

Does that mean that a specific programme like my Yummy Tummies Blueprint will not get you the results you want?  No, not at all.

It simply means that a specific one to one approach where you get to analyse key specific muscles will be the most effective and quickest way of achieving the results that you are looking for.

By the way, I had an email from one of my mums who started the Yummy Tummies Blueprint just last week. It’s pretty cool what she had to say. You can read about it here.

So if you want outstanding results after having a baby finds done that will completely analyse your body and devise a plan specific to you.

It doesn’t have to be me. But just make use that the person you use has a very clear understanding of postnatal exercise and can assess clearly and precisely what needs to be done.

And if you can’t find anyone, then drop me a line and I can see what I can do.
