Right now in this postnatal period you are probably up to your eyeballs with routines, structures, lists and generally things to do. And that’s just the baby…
How about you?
Are you taking any time to look after yourself right now?
Of course there is nothing more important in the whole than your little one. Trust me I know about that one. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for my daughter…
However, in all of this chaos that is happening around you (organised chaos of course) who is taking care of you?
You need to make sure that you are functioning to the best of your ability and you can’t do that if you don’t look after yourself.
Are you drinking enough water?
Are you getting enough good nutrition into you?
Are you actually taking any time for you?
This is massively important as I see time after time, new mums get slowly run into the ground until they get sick. The this makes things 100 times worse.
Getting out of bed to look after your little one is so much harder when you are sick.
Doing all of the day to day routines are also much harder.
Having the energy to get everything done then becomes a chore and you just drag yourself through the day.
And you?
How are you going ?
Are you looking after yourself? Are you doing everything possible to make sure that you have all of the energy possible to get yourself through the day.
And not just get yourself through the day, but have enough energy at the end of the day to have some ‘you time’.
In this Postnatal recovery period you also need to look after yourself.
If you are not too sure what to do, or just need an outside helping hand, why not ask for help.
Why not offload some of that responsibility to someone else?
That is where we come in. We can help you to not just survive the day, but have enough energy at the end of it to feel slightly human again.
If you need any help, just ask…
At the moment we are offering a one week trial of Club Yummy Tummies for a tenner.
We cover exercise of course, but we cover so much more which will help you to get more energy, feel a bit more like you again, and make you enjoy this Postnatal period even more.
